Terms and Conditions
|Prices||All pricing is quoted in $US currency. Tour costs may be subject to alteration as they constitute complete packages. Itemised cost breakdowns will not be given.|
Unless specifically agreed in writing to the contrary, the following policy will apply in all situations.
Deposit - A $US100.00 deposit is required within 14 days of confirmation of your tour arrangements.
Final Payment - will be required 14 days before arrival date in New Zealand or 14 days prior to the commencement of service. (Whichever may be the lesser period). Unless specifically agreed in writing, if full payment should not be received by the required date, services will be cancelled with forfeiture of full deposit.
Amendment fees - Once a booking has been confirmed, one amendment will be allowed without incuring any additional costs. Second and subsequent amendments will incur a fee of $US50.00 per amendment.
Method of Payment - Payments may be by recognised major credit cards.
|Cancellation||Cancellation of all arrangements will incur forfeiture of $US100.00 deposit. Cancellation within 14-7 days of arrival / commencement date of package will incur 50% cancellation fee of package costs. Cancellation within 7 days of arrival / commencement of package will incur 100% cancellation fees. We recommend travel insurance to cover such eventualities.|
|Refunds||No refunds will be
available on any unused services unless extenuating circumstances apply. In such
instances, final decisions will be made at the discretion of the suppliers whos
services are involved.
Weather interruption to itineraries / tour packages are beyond our control. We will do all possible to rearrange services in such event, but cannot be held financially responsible for interruption under such circumstances. We strongly recommend travel insurance cover for such eventualities.
|Children||Generally childrens under 12 years, who share a room and existing bedding with an adult, may travel at 50% of the adult rate. We reserve the right to confirm exact child costs at time of reservation.|
|Meals||Unless specifically mentioned, meals are not included.|
|Flights||Unless specifically mentioned, international or domestic air fares are not included in any tour costs.|
|Taxes||GST tax (12.5%) is included in all tour prices. No other taxes are included in tour prices.|
|Documents||It is the
responsibility of all travellers to ensure they have in their possession valid passports
(with an expirey date beyond six months of their intended stay in New Zealand) and
appropriate visas where applicable.
All travel documents, including vouchers, itineraries and other reference material, will be delivered to you upon your arrival into New Zealand by our driver who will meet you at the airport.
|Insurance||We strongly recomend that all travellers take out appropriate travel insurance cover for all eventualities.|
The client accepts that once a booking has been made with General Travel New Zealand, the client understands and accepts all terms and conditions as outlined.
Conditions of Responsibility:
General Travel New Zealand Ltd and/or their subsidiary and/or associated companies, give their notice that all tickets and coupons are issued by them or on their behalf, and all arrangements for transport and conveyance, or for hotel accommodations are made by them as agents or operates upon the express conditions that they should not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, sickness or through the acts or defaults of any passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour(s) or otherwise in connection with any of the hotels or proprietor or servant for any failures on the part of the hotel or provide any of the laws of the country where the conveyance is provided. General Travel New Zealand Ltd and/or the subsidiary and/or associated companies accept no responsibility for loss or additional expenses, for any delays or changes in steamer, motor, air or any other services, sickness, injury, weather, strikes, lockouts, war, earthquake, floods, volcanic eruption, or for other causes. The transportation companies or firms concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the carriers concerned when issued shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies or firms and the purchaser of these tours and/or passengers.
Should there by any disruptions or delays it will be the responsibility of the passenger to contract General Travel New Zealand Ltd or the Agent/Operator with whom the next service is to be carried out to prevent any no-show or non-arrival charges.
