Leave Christchurch and head
north through rich farmland of North Canterbury and up the coastline to arrive at the
township of Kaikoura. The purpose built vessel provides an opportunity to view whales in

Start today with a train
journey aboard the world famous Tranz Alpine Express. During the journey, you will travel
through some of the most spectacular scenery in New Zealand. Arrive Arthur's Pass and
enjoy a delicious lunch. Board the coach for your return journey back to Christchurch. En

Travel through the Canterbury
