Morgan Larson

Morgan Larson, 28, is a trimmer and strategist. His home is in Santa Cruz, CA. He likes to say that he's responsible for keeping the boat going fast in the right direction and making sure that people are smiling and laughing.
Although this is his first America's Cup campaign in his 21 years of sailing, Larson is no stranger to top level competition. He and AmericaOne crew member Kevin Hall are amongst the top world seeds in the new 49er Olympic Dinghy Class. They are mounting a determined campaign to represent the United States and win Olympic Gold in Sydney after the America's Cup, with Larson steering and Hall on the wire.
Larson, who was awarded a BA from the University of Hawaii, lists his other interests as surfing, sailboarding, mountain biking and rock climbing.
