Mike Howard

AmericaOne grinder, Mike Howard has been sailing for 34 years. This is Mike's first America's Cup campaign though he has sailed both with and against many members of AmericaOne's sailing team. At age 50, he is a four time Maxi World Champion, two-time 50 Foot World Champion, three time winner of the Kenwood Cup and twice was first to finish the Transpac.
Howard, was awarded a BA from Long Beach State and a Masters degree from Pepperdine University. When not on the race course, Mike enjoys surfing, fishing and football. He has two children Lainya and Zachary and lives with his wife, Erin, in Malibu, CA.
