Robert Hook
Sail Designer
Robert Hook is Custom Project Manager for North Sails Inc. Since starting with North Sails Australia in 1980 he has worked in North Sail lofts in nearly a dozen different countries.
During the course of the last 19 years Hook has been involved in many different sailing programs including four America's Cup Challenges. He has been involved in the sail design programs of the 1987 Kookaburra, 1992 Challenge Australia, 1995 oneAustralia and AmericaOne challenges. Hook was also full time team member and sail designer for EF Language, winning boat of the 1997-98 Whitbread Round the World Race.
Robert Hook and his wife Sharon live in Santa Barbara, CA with their two children, Kayla and Kieran.
