C arol Ann Henderson began her career in sports marketing with America’s Cup ’95 in San Diego. She joined the America’s Cup event organizer in 1992 as the marketing director overseeing sponsorship development and fulfillment. Since then, she has worked as the director of sponsorship for the Super Bowl XXXII Host Committee where she concentrated on sponsorship development.

Henderson’s experience with America’s Cup ’95 sponsors includes Hewlett-Packard, ESPN, Louis Vuitton, Citizen Watch Company, Moet & Chandon and Bayliner. During her tenure with the Super Bowl XXXII Host Committee in San Diego, Henderson worked with Qualcomm Inc., Sprint Corporation, Sprint PCS, Miller Brewing Company, and the Coca-Cola Company developing sponsorship packages to fund the events and activities associated with hosting the prestigious Super Bowl game.

At AmericaOne, Carol will focus her efforts on sponsorship fundraising, as well as overseeing the fulfillment program. She has been actively sailing out of San Diego since 1992 and has most recently been racing aboard Airboss, a J/92 out of Silvergate Yacht Club in San Diego.
