Justin Clougher
Foredeck
Justin Clougher, 39, lives in Newport, RI. He, sails on the foredeck and in the pit. Known to all as "Juggy", Clougher has an impressive background in ocean racing but has not raced before on America's Cup boats.
Clougher was part of Paul Cayard's winning crew aboard EF Language in the Whitbread Round the World Race. He has been sailing since he was put to sea in the family sloop in his birthplace of Hobart, Tasmania at the age of seven. He's been involved in Grand Prix yachting since the Clipper Cup in 1984 and has raced frequently with Cayard in events like the Kenwood Cup and San Francisco Big Boat Series.
Clougher is an electronics graduate from the Tasmanian Institute of Technology. He is a helicopter pilot and his other interests include skiing, water skiing and bush activities. He is married to Kerry and they have a daughter Zoe.
