3M,the story is often told about how
this struggling sandpaper company grew to become a highly diversified Fortune
500 Company with significant global presence. Since 3M was founded in 1902,
the company's focus has been consistent: an unwavering legacy of innovation
at every level of the company and a dedication to developing new products that
make the lives of 3M's customers easier and better.
Although 3M has maintained its headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota, it is known today all over the globe, with sales in almost every country. The company's research and development portfolio features 100 leading technologies, which include abrasives, adhesives, non-woven fibers, films, precision coatings, fluorochemicals, ceramics, optics and microstructured surfaces. 3M products are the proof points of these extraordinary technological capabilities. For example, non-woven technology spawned an array of seemingly unrelated products: cleaning sponges, insulation material and face masks. For the future, 3M employees are working to discover new and better ways to serve customers around the world.

making hacksaw blades under the trade name of LENOX®. The company has grown
tremendously since then, now employing over 600 people and marketing band saw

In 1995, this quality commitment was formally recognized when we achieved ISO 9001 certification. We are pleased to integrate this important phase in quality processing into our greater quality achievement strategy. Finally, but most importantly, we recognize that nothing is possible without satisfied, repeat customers. We also realize that the meaning of satisfaction may differ somewhat from one customer to the next. So we're flexible. After all, change and innovation has kept us growing since 1915.

About
Beckson Marine People often ask how Beckson Marine has been so innovative
over so long a period of time. It's simple - we're a company of Boaters for
Boaters. Most of us have had a lifelong involvement using boats. Beckson means
personal interest in boating, personal involvement, personal experience, and
personal reputation. For over 40 years we have collaborated with material manufacturers
to develop materials that will withstand the harsh marine environment. We were
among the first to introduce molded and rigid PVC, Korad(R), Rovel(R) and other
specially manufactured materials to the marine marketplace; continuing a Beckson
tradition of providing our customers and with products manufactured today using
materials of tomorrow. Beckson products have become the standard by which other
marine parts are measured. We are not surprised by their designed trouble-free
durable performance. Continuous testing, refinement, and development are the
hallmarks of Beckson. Our customer's confidence has enabled us to complete over
40 years of apprenticeship, and with their valued support, we continue to improve
our products and provide personal service and exceptional quality at affordable

ILOG
software is equivalent to the engine in a Formula One race car; it's highly
complex, built for speed, and without it, the car can't function. ILOG software
"engines" -- which is what this revved-up technology is often called -- are
used within powerful software applications to do the most difficult, most critical
functions. For example, ILOG engines drive the software applications used by
almost all major airlines to calculate the most efficient crew or plane schedules.
Improving efficiency by just 1% cuts costs by tens of millions of dollars a
year and helps reduce ticket prices. Chrysler is using ILOG technology to make
its auto assembly much more efficient, saving $7 million in the first year alone.
ILOG leads the world in its market segment -- software components. ILOG engines can examine millions of pieces of data involved with making decisions, evaluating all possible alternatives, probable outcomes, then selecting the best solution. And they can do in seconds or minutes what might otherwise take hours, weeks, or forever. Understandably, this is not simple technology. Companies come to ILOG for its software engines because so few software developers in the world have the skills to design such advanced products. Among the industries using ILOG software components are manufacturing, telecommunications, transportation, and defense. Information about ILOG is available at www.ilog.com.

Pelican
Products opened its doors in the old-fashioned, great American tradition,
on a shoe string budget in an old backyard garage. It all started with a childhood
infatuation with the underwater world. A 1949 Popular Science magazine article
on homemade scuba outfits was the catalyst that triggered a life-long hobby.
That hobby turned into an obsession for making diving related accessories that
worked better than what store bought equipment had to offer. Then on one June
day in 1975 Pelican Products just
"happened". Dave Parker started selling his first invention and innovations
to local dive shops as a tiny side business.
Dave's unique approach to superior quality, reliability, and basic "common sense" engineering soon attracted the interest of U.S. Special Forces, the Navy and industrial companies with equally demanding requirements. And so the Pelican legend began... Pelican Products now markets its quality products throughout the world with distribution centers in 4 countries.

Vaughan
Manufacturing: Long before "Ergonomics" became a buzz word; before "CTS"
(Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) and "Tenosynovitis" became part of everyday language;
back when "Epicondylitis" was still called "Carpenter’s Elbow" - Vaughan
engineers were already busy taking the "sting" out of solid steel and fiberglass
hammers. It was never a big secret that most professional carpenters preferred
hickory handle hammers. Anyone who made a living swinging a hammer all day long
didn’t have to be sold on the balance and shock absorbing properties of wood.
But most steel and fiberglass hammers were another story. They never did feel
"right." They lacked balance, felt awkward to swing, and there was always that
bone jarring "sting" that traveled up the handle to wrist and elbow with every
hammer blow.
Vaughan designers have improved the balance and shock absorbing qualities of fiberglass handle hammers while increasing the strength in the critical neck area. Vaughan Steel Eagle (R) solid steel hammers feature our exclusive, patented Shock-Blok® plug which virtually eliminates transmission of shock waves into the handle.
Vaughan products that bear this "Proud to Say" label are absolutely 100% made in the U.S.A. They are manufactured to the highest standards of quality under environmentally safe conditions. We are ISO 9002 certified. We do not exploit foreign labor nor their environments. We consciously use recycled and/or recyclable materials in all of our packaging and promotional materials.
Our products and services create competitive advantages
for our customers and provide end users with such high level of security and
performance that they will be totally satisfied with their choice both now and
in the future.
