Vince Casalaina started in television more than 25 years ago, producing Emmy Award winning programming in the Bay Area for niche markets. His first major project was the weekly late night variety series, "Went Like It Came" featuring up and coming artists (at that time) like Bonnie Rait and Arlo Guthrie. He co-produced and directed the first interactive docudrama on television for KPIX-TV in San Francisco in 1976 and directed the informational series "Over Easy" for PBS.
More recently, Casalaina has turned his attention to the opportunities available for microcasting made possible by the Internet, producing video material for the AmericaOne website and adding video to the Snipe Sailing Class website. He teaches and does research with the Berkeley Multimedia Research Center where he supervises a number of multimedia "courseware" titles.
