AmericaOne Steinlager/Line 7Chronicles:
Team AmericaOne Had a Strong Day

Daily Report - March 24, 2000-

Auckland, NZ
Day four dawned with an unusual SE wind direction across the ditch (race course area). A very unsettled direction which became the theme of the day. Again the A1 team arrived early to the yacht club to view the racing and enjoy the RNZYS spread. The first group were able to complete their round after some long delays. Dean Barker finishing on top with the second semi final berth unclaimed at time of writing with a points tie between Bertrand Pace and Chris Dickson. A jury will make that call tonight.

Team A1 had a strong day recovering from penalties in the prestart of both races against Peter Gilmore and Cameron Appleton. This leaves us in a good position to secure a semi final berth tomorrow all going well. There are two flights left to sail to complete the round. Three teams are in the hunt for the two spots left in the semi's. Appleton, Green and Brady.

Stay tuned.

Regards
The A1 Lads
