Chris Law was named interim skipper for the mini-America's Cup regatta in April, 1997, replacing Lawrie Smith, who became involved with the Whitbread Round the World Race. Britons Chris Mason and Guy Barron, who sailed for the Nippon Challenge in 1995, will crew for Law on an interim basis. See Scuttlebutt: Brits Show Spirit of the Challenge for more details.
