Comments: This is St. Francis YC's second America's Cup challenge, the first being a valiant effort by the late Tom Blackaller and Paul Cayard to wrest the Auld Mug from the Aussies in 1986-87. Paul Cayard is back, with the additional experiece of having sailed in two America's Cups in 1992 and 1995. His sailing talent, combined with the design skills of Bruce Nelson and a technology team backed by SAIC, give AmericaOne the firepower to present a formidable challenge to the Kiwis.
